Decoding the signaling and repertoire threshold
required for immune tolerance
Welcome to the ASHOURI Lab
We study antigen-receptor signaling pathways that disrupt immune tolerance and result in autoimmune disease. We utilize mouse models, humans samples, along with molecular, cell-based, and multi-omic technologies including paired single-cell RNA and TCR-sequencing. Our goal is to identify the TCR specificities, gene expression profile, and signaling networks of cells involved in antigen recognition in rheumatoid arthritis and other related autoimmune diseases.
