I first joined the Weiss Lab in 2018 working with Dr. Ashouri then later joined the Ashouri Lab to work more closely on studies on rheumatoid arthritis. My research interests involve understanding the role of specific subsets of T cells in the SKG mouse model to understand their involvement in autoimmune arthritis. In my spare time, I generally enjoy just being outdoors and spending time with others, which includes hiking and camping. I am also interested in learning new things whether it be new techniques, languages, or programming.
